We are followers of Jesus Christ living in joyful, loving fellowship within his Catholic Church through the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter.
The Seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church
Our Lord Jesus Christ gave his Catholic Church the Seven Sacraments of the new law: Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Eucharist, Penance and Reconciliation (also known as Confession), the Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders and Matrimony.
Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist are called the Sacraments of Initiation. Through these Sacraments we become fully members of Christ's mystical body, the Church. (Find out more about how to receive these sacraments at St. Alban's.)
Penance and Reconciliation, and the Anointing of the Sick, are called the Sacraments of Healing. (Find out more about Confession or about Anointing of the Sick at St. Alban's).
The Church calls Holy Orders and Matrimony the Sacraments at the Service of Communion.
If you're engaged to be married, we encourage you to visit our For Your Marriage page about how to prepare for the sacrament through St. Alban's.
Men who wish to discern a vocation to the major orders of diaconate and priesthood should contact Father Nathan Davis directly.
We encourage you to learn more about receiving these Sacraments through St. Alban's Catholic Church via the navigation bar at the side.
"The seven sacraments touch all the stages and all the important moments of Christian life: they give birth and increase, healing and mission to the Christian's life of faith." ~ Catechism of the Catholic Church.
