We're celebrating our parish's patron saint, St. Alban the Martyr, on June 20 with a beautiful Ordinariate Solemn Mass at 7 PM! Our parish has come a long way from starting as a Catholic fellowship to officially becoming St. Alban's Catholic Church. Come and celebrate with us!
The devotions at St. Kateri-St. Margaret Mary begin June 6 at 6 PM with the opening Mass, and continue with 40 Hours of adoration, select times for Confession, Rosary, and concludes on Saturday morning at the 10 AM Mass with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
St. Alban's parish clerk Peter Smith is holding a pub night discussion on what it means to follow Jesus in his Catholic Church, from 7 - 9 PM at The Old Toad, 277 Alexander St., Rochester, NY 14607. We'll be using Dietrich Bonhoeffer's The Cost of Discipleship as a guide for the evening's talk.
St. Alban's 11:30 AM Rogation Sunday Mass on May 26 begins special days in the Catholic Church for asking God's blessing on creation and protection from natural disaster. We then have 7 PM Ascension Thursday Mass, which is a mandated holy day for observance by Catholics in the Ordinariate and the Diocese of Rochester.
