Fr. Evan Simington is offering a 4:30 p.m. Ordinariate Vigil Mass for the conclusion of the annual Rochester Chesterton Conference on Saturday, Sept. 29 at St. John the Evangelist Church on Humbolt Street in Rochester, N.Y. The Ordinariate Mass features many of the liturgical prayers that led Anglicans like Chesterton to seek full communion with the Catholic Church.

Many young Catholics drawn to the ordinariate’s English-Catholic expressions of faith are evangelizing and building new Ordinariate Catholic communities -- a partnership made possible with the help of the wider Roman Catholic Church that will strengthen existing communities as well. The Fellowship of St. Alban is holding Choral Evensong on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. starting Sept. 20, St. Matthew's Eve.
