Pope Francis has invited the faithful on March 27 at 1 PM ET (6 PM Rome) to
join him live in prayer listening to the Word of God, bringing our supplications to Jesus our Advocate and Mediator, and adoring Jesus in the Holy Eucharist as we unite in prayer during the Covid-19 pandemic. To all who
watch live, he will impart the
Urbi et Orbi ("to the City [of Rome] and the World") blessing, and impart a plenary indulgence. The conditions for this plenary indulgence, which cleanses the heart of all temporal punishment due to our attachment to sin (
see the Catechism of the Catholic Church's teaching), are found in
the Vatican's recent decree that a person must have the intention to receive Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, go to Confession, and prayer for the Pope's intentions, as soon as may be possible for them. Just click the link below to join the Holy Father at 1 PM ET on Friday, March, 27.
