We are followers of Jesus Christ living in joyful, loving fellowship within his Catholic Church through the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter.
As of Oct. 4, St. Alban's is celebrating Evensong every first Sunday of the month at 7 p.m. We are moving monthly Evensong from First Fridays to First Sundays at 7 p.m. Our last First Friday Evensong is Sept. 4th.
Evensong is the Ordinariate's form of the Catholic Church's Evening Prayer that comes to us from the Anglican tradition. It is part of the Liturgy of the Hours, which the Second Vatican Council said is meant to "sanctify the day." Evensong is a beautiful time to grow in your love and fellowship with Jesus as you hear him proclaimed in readings from the Bible, psalms, canticles, and hymns sung by the congregation.
St. Alban's evening prayer service concludes with Eucharistic exposition and benediction.
