The three pillars of a good Lenten practice are prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are obligatory days of universal fast and abstinence, while every Friday is an obligatory day of abstinence from meat. Fr. Davis has provided a helpful "My Rule for Lent" so you can carry out these Lenten practices and grow in your discipleship of Jesus Christ throughout these 40 days.
We look forward to deeping our life in Christ together as a community this Lent.
Every Friday in Lent, St. Alban's will have a 7 p.m. Stations of the Cross and Benediction.
Also, every Friday in Lent, Fr. Davis will hear confessions after 12 p.m. Mass at Christ the King Church, in addition to the usual scheduled times for confession. He is also available for confession by appointment.
