Evensong for St. Matthew's Vigil: Thurs. Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. St. Alban's has Evensong, English-Catholic vespers in the Anglican chant tradition, every 3rd Thursday of the month.
Ember Friday Day of Penance: Fri. Sept. 21: Bishop Steven Lopes is dedicating himself to prayer and fasting on Ember Friday (a day of abstinence from meat in the Ordinariate) in reparation for the sins of bishops. He has invited the Ordinariate faithful to pray and offer an act of penance this day for the renewal of the Church.
Copies of The Litany, from the Ordinariate's Anglican patrimony, will be available at the Trinity XVI Sunday Mass and the St. Matthew's Vigil, for individual and family prayer on this day.
