We are followers of Jesus Christ living in joyful, loving fellowship within his Catholic Church through the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter.
Our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program has launched for the 2022-2023 school year.
St. Alban's Catechism of the Good Shepherd is a faith formation program that introduces our children (between 3 - 9 years old) into a lifelong love and following of Jesus.
This Fall, St. Alban's will offer CGS on Sunday mornings from 9 - 10:45 a.m. for CGS Level 1 (ages 3-6) and CGS Level II (ages 6-9).
We're grateful for our lead catechist Jen Brannin for leading this program and for our catechists and assistants who make this possible.
St. Alban's Catechesis for the Good Shepherd program follows the directives of the Ordinariate's Safe Environment program. Each member of St. Alban's CGS team is trained in both the Ordinariate's Virtus program and the Catholic Diocese of Rochester's CASE training.
The program is free to parents as part of St. Alban's commitment to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
During CGS, we have opportunities for parents to enjoy fellowship with each other, engage in faith discussions to deepen their discipleship, have their confessions heard in the Sacrament of Reconciliation offered from 10:15-10:45 a.m., or just pray quietly in the church.
