We're glad you have found St. Alban's Catholic Church to be a comfortable fit for your church home! No matter what your religious background and where you are in your search for God, we invite you to register as a member of our parish family—as either a parishioner or a frequent visitor.
Since the Ordinariate was established to provide a home for former Anglicans (that is, Episcopalians, Anglicans, and AMEs), those with Anglican roots are especially welcome! Roman Catholics can belong to a diocese and also be registered in our community. But you do not need to be an Anglican or a Roman Catholic in order to join us for Mass and events and be registered as part of the family. All are welcome! There are several ways to go a step further—all the way to becoming a canonical member of
the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St Peter.
If you have Anglican roots, having been baptized in the Anglican Communion and have already converted to the Roman Catholic Church in a diocese, you can ask to officially transfer your local membership from your diocese to the Ordinariate. By doing this, you become a canonical member of the Ordinariate and are no longer a member of your diocese. To start the process, indicate your interest to parish leadership in person or send us a note about this using the Contact Us form.
If you have not been baptized and want to become a Roman Catholic through the Ordinariate at St. Alban's, you can be initiated into the Church by receiving the sacraments of Baptism, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation together. Learn more about the sacraments of initiation on the Sacraments page.
If you have questions, feel free to talk with parish leadership and other Roman Catholic parishioners about the process and the sacraments. When you are ready to start the process of initiation, indicate your interest to parish leadership in person or send us a note about this using the Contact Us form.
If you have been baptized with a valid baptism in any Christian denomination (including Episcopalian, Anglican, and AME), you can be confirmed as a new member of the Roman Catholic Church and the Ordinariate at St. Alban's. Learn more about the sacraments of initiation on the Sacraments page.To start the process, indicate your interest to parish leadership in person or send us a note about this using the Contact Us form.
If you have been baptized Roman Catholic but have not completed the process of initiation all the way to confirmation, you can be confirmed in the Ordinariate at St. Alban's. To start the process, indicate your interest to parish leadership in person or send us a note about this using the Contact Us form.
