We are followers of Jesus Christ living in joyful, loving fellowship within his Catholic Church through the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter.
We start our Lenten journey on Ash Wednesday (Feb. 17) with 7PM Divine Worship Mass and the traditional distribution of ashes. Father Davis will hear confessions from 6:15-6:45 PM.
Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and abstinence from meat in the Catholic Church. All Catholics above the age of 14 are called to abstain from meat. Those Catholics between 21 and 59 are required to fast, with a minimum guideline of one full meal, and two smaller meals not equalling a full meal, with no snacking in between.
Pregnant and nursing mothers are exempt from fast and abstinence as well as those with chronic health conditions. If you have any questions, or need a dispensation, we encourage you to reach out and talk with our parish priest, Fr. Davis.
