Epiphany of the Lord: Evensong & Benediction

Sunday, January 3, 2021, 7:00 PMSt. Alban's celebrates a 7 pm Evensong and Benediction every first Sunday of the month. All are invited to join us for what the Psalmist David calls "worship in the beauty of holiness!"
Evensong is the Ordinariate's form of the Catholic Church's Evening Prayer that comes to us from our Anglican tradition. It is part of the Liturgy of the Hours, which the Second Vatican Council said is meant to "sanctify the day." Evensong is a beautiful time to grow in your love and fellowship with Jesus as you hear him proclaimed in readings from the Bible, psalms, canticles, and hymns sung by the congregation.
St. Alban's evening prayer service concludes with Eucharistic exposition and benediction.
