We are followers of Jesus Christ living in joyful, loving fellowship within his Catholic Church through the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter.
This Sunday, June 21st, we're celebrating our patronal feast of St. Alban, the first martyr of Britain. And we've got a lot to celebrate, having come a long way since Father Evan arrived 3 years ago with the Fellowship of St. Alban and growing together into St. Alban's Catholic Church.
We've got a beautiful 11 AM Solemn Mass planned with Father Evan as the celebrant, Deacon Nathan Davis (our incoming parish priest who'll be ordained June 29th at the cathedral in Houston) and Acolyte Chris Bayer as subdeacon. All are welcome to join us following the guidelines prepared by Father Evan in consultation with our pastoral council. Father Evan will hear confessions from 10 - 10:45 AM.
Then we invite you to join us for our 4 PM St. Alban's feast day picnic, so we can all give Father Evan a fond farewell and give Deacon Davis a hearty welcome! Please join us Sunday June 21st at 4 p.m. for a family picnic in the back parking lot and field at Christ the King Church; 445 Kings Highway S. Rochester, NY 14617. Families are encouraged to bring their face masks and their own food.
We'll bid a fond farewell to Father Evan, and give soon-to-be Father Davis a fun introduction to our fellowship.
