It is with great joy and thanksgiving to Almighty God that St Alban’s announces the recent hiring of Aaron Tan to be our next Music Director and Organist!
Aaron will officially replace Gil Donohue on August 1, 2021. Gil is leaving St. Alban's to become the Director of Liturgical Music at Providence College, RI.
Aaron comes to us as he seeks his Doctorate in Organ at the Eastman School of Music. For the prior three years, Aaron has done music for the Church of the Resurrection, New York, NY (Episcopal). Church music is Aaron’s “second career,” having obtained a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan, in 2012.
