St. Alban's Forms New Choir for Fall 2021 Choral Services

St. Alban's is forming a new choir under music director and organist Aaron Tan. We have plans for six choral activities for Fall 2021 that will evangelize and uplift the soul in the beauty of the Anglican music tradition at St. Alban's Catholic Church:

• Sunday, Sept. 5th: 7pm Choral Evensong for Trinity XIV
• Wednesday Sept. 29th: 7pm Mass for Michaelmas
• Monday Nov 1st: 7pm Mass for All Saints
• Sunday Nov 21st: 11am Mass for Christ the King
• Saturday Dec 18th: 7pm Advent Lessons and Carols:
• Friday, Dec. 24th: Christmas Eve Mass (TBD)

For these special occasions, St. Alban's choir will prepare more elaborate Mass settings, anthems, and plainsong and Anglican chant psalmody. The choir will rehearse two or three times on Sundays leading up to a choral service.

Those who are interested to participate in these choral services should contact Aaron Tan through St. Alban's contact page and inform Aaron of their availability, vocal range(s) (SATB), and whether they prefer rehearsing before or after Mass on Sundays. The first choir rehearsal for the Fall is this Sunday, August 22.
