We are followers of Jesus Christ living in joyful, loving fellowship within his Catholic Church through the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter.
Parents of children between pre-K and 8th grade are invited to pre-register now for The Fellowship of St. Alban's children's faith formation and sacramental prep classes. Classes will be on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. starting Sept. 23, and track with the school year,
An adult faith formation series will be available at the same time, so parents can also feel confident sharing the Catholic Church's teachings and what life in Jesus Christ means within their own family. All classes will conclude before St. Alban's 11:30 a.m. Mass.
St. Alban's children and adult faith formation classes are available to any family. Parents who want their children to receive Confirmation and First Eucharist through the Fellowship of St. Alban have to be registered parishioners.
The Fellowship of St. Alban is in the diocese known as the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter, and administers the Sacraments of Initiation following the Catholic Church's ancient order of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist. This is sometimes called "Restored Order" in other Roman Catholic dioceses that have made their own pastorally-informed decision to follow this order.
At St. Alban's, children are generally prepared to receive Confirmation and First Eucharist by 2nd/3rd grade, and then continue to develop their loving relationship with Jesus Christ, knowledge of his Church, and growth in a life of prayer and virtue.
Older children in the parish who have already received First Eucharist, but not Confirmation, will also have sacramental preparation in advance of receiving the sacrament from Bishop Steven Lopes.
