Our new parish priest, Father Nathan Davis, has arrived on fire for spreading the Gospel, serving our Catholic community, and bringing more men and women into the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ as his disciples here in the Rochester area. However, due to his arrival from Texas and NY State travel protocols, Fr. Davis must follow these precautionary protocols & self-isolate until July 15.
This means St. Alban's will be broadcasting 11 AM Mass for July 5 and July 12. We will NOT have 11 AM Mass in church on those days.
We will broadcast only Sunday Mass for July 5 and July 12 at 11 AM on St. Alban's Facebook, website, and YouTube.
Then on July 19, we will celebrate our first Sunday Mass together with Fr. Davis and have opportunities to receive "first blessings" from our newly ordained priest.
As a reminder, the obligation to attend Sunday and Holy Day Masses remains commuted. You may choose to commute your obligation to attend Mass by meditating on the Liturgy of the Word from this Sunday’s readings and offering a Spiritual Act of Communion; or you may choose to offer a family Rosary.
Please also save the date for a "Meet Fr. Davis" evening party, Thurs. July 16 in the backyard field & playground outside Christ the King rectory.
Please remember to support St. Alban's through the pandemic. You can give online here or by mail to St. Alban's Catholic Church, c/o Fr. Nathan Davis, 445 Kings Highway S., Rochester, NY 14617.
