Effective Oct. 1, the commutation of the Sunday obligation applies only to those who are over 60 years of age, or anyone who is at higher risk because of an underlying medical condition, such as heart disease, diabetes, COPD, kidney disease, or are immunocompromised.

St. Alban's first Sunday Evensong is Oct. 4. We're moving our monthly Evensong from First Fridays at 7 p.m. to First Sundays at 7 p.m. Come & join us for "worship in the beauty of holiness!"

The Ember days are four seasonal times of prayer and fasting, and an ancient part of the Ordinariate's English Christian patrimony. The 2020 Fall Ember days are Wed. Sept. 16th, Fri. Sept. 18th, and Sat. Sept. 19th. Ember Friday is a day of abstinence for Catholics in the Ordinariate.

St. Alban's plans to have a 7PM Wednesday Requiem Mass about once a month, depending on the liturgical calendar. We're starting this ancient pious practice, and spiritual work of mercy, on Aug. 26th.

Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 26, Fr Davis will lead “Cor ad Cor,” a weekly study of Newman’s Sermons, after the 7 PM Divine Worship Mass. No preparation needed, and all are welcome!

On Monday, August 10, Bishop Steven Lopes ordained Mr. Randall A. King, Mr. Patrick S. Simons, Mr. Arthur G. Stockstill, Jr., and Mr. Scott E. Woloson to the Sacred Order of Deacon for the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter! Isaac Scharbach, age 21, was killed by a vehicle while bicycling on a country road near his home in Maryland. His father, Rev. Al Scharbach, is the pastor of Fr. Davis’ home parish, Mount Calvary Catholic Church in Baltimore.

St. Alban's has now added a weekly 7 PM Divine Worship Mass on Wednesdays to our regular liturgical schedule. Fr. Davis hears confession from 6:30 - 6:45 PM.

Father Nathan Davis, the new Parochial Administrator of St Alban's Catholic Church, shares his first message with St. Alban's parish community, and his determination to "meet and greet all of you, to hear your stories, and to share the love of God and his many blessings with you."

Due to St. Alban's new parish priest's arrival from Texas and NY State COVID-19 travel protocols, Fr. Davis must self-isolate as a precaution until July 15. St. Alban's Sunday Mass on July 5 & 12 are broadcast only. St. Alban's public Mass with Fr. Davis resumes July 19.
